Helen Hayes – Wellbeing Speaker
Helen is a Traditional Acupuncturist with an approach to approach to wellbeing that is underpinned by the philosophies and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). At the heart of TCM lies the fundamental theory of balance – Yin/Yang is perhaps the most known and documented concept used within Taoism.
Whether delivering talks, workshops or pop up retreats, Helen uses her passion and knowledge for these ancient theories and applies them to the modern way of life, helping people to improve their own well-being, de-stress or achieve a greater work life balance.
She is herself a busy mum and ambitious working woman, juggling roles and responsibilities. Helen started her career in the City of London in Corporate and Financial PR and developed in Business-to-Business Public Relations. As a linguist, she worked on international campaigns with teams from across the globe and subsequently went on to freelance to support start-ups and women in business. She holds a BSc Hons in Acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and a BA Hons in Economics and Spanish.
Helen created Balance Retreat with a vision – to help professionals stay in good health and possess the mental strength and resilience to stay healthy and balanced through all the demands and challenges of modern living.
Her talks and workshop topics are focused on 3 key areas of wellbeing; stress management, finding balance and improving mental wellbeing. Topics can be presented in a number of different formats depending on audience size and company requirements. Talks may be presented in half or one hour slots, or as longer more interactive, workshop style sessions.
